At Vishvam Exports (Pranava Spices), we commit to conducting international trade in full compliance with all applicable Indian export laws, international trade regulations, and customs standards. This statement clarifies our obligations as an Indian exporter and the obligations of importers, distributors, and customers outside India.

Regulatory Compliance in India:

We operate in accordance with:

  • The Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 and the currently issued Foreign Trade Policy 2023 published by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) of India. IEA+2Press Information Bureau+2

  • The Spices Board of India for export registration, certification and quality control of spices.

  • The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) for hygiene, labelling and packaging compliance of food-products.

  • The Legal Metrology Act, 2009 for packaging, weights and measures declarations.

  • Applicable GST, Customs & Export documentation laws in India.

All export consignments are accompanied by required documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, export declarations and other certifications as required under these laws.

International Trade and Importer Responsibilities:

Buyers or importers purchasing from Vishvam Exports (Pranava Spices) agree to:

  • Ensure that the imported goods comply with the import regulations, food safety laws, and labelling standards of their country.

  • Obtain any necessary import permits, licences, or product approvals in advance.

  • Bear all import duties, customs clearance charges, local taxes and compliance costs in their destination country.

  • Accept that ownership and risk of the goods transfer to them once the goods are shipped out of India, in line with the agreed Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF).

Once the goods leave India, Vishvam Exports is not liable for delays, customs intervention, regulatory issues or rejections in the destination country.

Quality Assurance & Certifications:

  • All products are manufactured, packed and exported under certified quality-standards and comply with FSSAI, Spices Board and related norms.

  • Batch testing, documentation and labelling are conducted before dispatch.

  • On request, additional certifications (e.g., phytosanitary certificates, HACCP) may be arranged subject to cost and availability.

Prohibited or Restricted Trade:

Vishvam Exports does not ship products to countries, individuals or entities subject to:

  • Trade embargoes, sanctions or restrictions under Indian law or UN/International regimes.

  • Any activity that would violate applicable export-control regulations, anti-terrorism laws, or product restrictions.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any export order that is found non-compliant with Indian or international law.

Limitation of Liability:

Once goods are dispatched from India and cleared by Indian customs, Vishvam Exports shall not be liable for:

  • Delays or losses caused by customs authorities, port handling or local import procedures in the destination country.

  • Product rejections, confiscations or penalties resulting from non-compliance with destination country’s rules.

  • Any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from delay, damage or regulatory detention.

Ethical & Sustainable Trade:

We are committed to ethical sourcing and trade practices:

  • Sourcing from verified, sustainable and fair-trade spice producers.

  • Ensuring no child labour or forced labour in our supply chain.

  • Promoting environmentally responsible packaging and sustainable farming practices.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction:

These trade transactions and agreements are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in relation to export transactions with Vishvam Exports shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Faridabad, Haryana, India.
